About Kevin
I'm Kevin, and I've spent hundreds of hours in Dark Souls (DS1, DS2, DS3), Bloodborne, Elden Ring, and Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, analyzing bosses and lore, item flavor text and environmental storytelling, exploring every hidden detail and perspective I can find, so that I can understand each game as the complete work of art that it is. Gaming has become for me a way to embrace wonder, and I want to share that with you!
If you feel like you just can't win, like it's just not working, I'm here for you. These game worlds are harsh, intimidating, and challenging--but so rewarding if you persevere! I want to share my passion so we can transform discouragement into victory, to mastery, to something even more than that. In my lessons I aim to share the experience of the beauty and mystery hidden in these worlds.

I want to turn your frustration into fascination and fun! Teaching students how to rise in victory and fall in love with video games such as Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, and Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.
Each lesson will include
--Framing Goals: what are you trying to accomplish? Beat a boss, get an item, maximize a build, understand a concept? Let's focus your vision.
--Tips and Tactics: How do we achieve that goal? This can include live guidance as you share your screen, or as I share my screen.
--Skill Mastery: What kind of skills are you looking to master? Parrying, dodging, smashing? Let's get you there!
--Build Optimization: What kind of build are you trying to create? Pyromancer, sorcerer, smashy-smashy? Let's strategize!
--Review and Adapt: What worked and what didn't? What needs to change and what needs to improve? Let's achieve mastery together!
