My name is Rachael, and I am a PhD researcher in Biological Sciences specializing in bioinformatics, data science, and machine learning applications in genomics. I hold a strong academic foundation in microbiology and bioinformatics, and I work extensively with large-scale biological datasets, advanced statistical modeling, and predictive machine learning techniques.

About the lesson

My name is Rachael, and I teach Python, R, Bash, and applied statistics with a strong focus on real-world data science and research applications. My approach is practical, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals. I believe students learn best by doing, so lessons are built around hands-on exercises, real datasets, and guided problem-solving rather than memorizing theory.

A typical lesson starts with a clear explanation of key concepts, followed by live coding, interactive exercises, and short tasks to reinforce understanding. I also help students work through their own projects, assignments, or research data, ensuring they can apply what they learn independently.
