About Craig
Hello! I'm a full-time data scientist with two years of professional experience, and several more years of coding under my belt. I currently work as a football data scientist for three professional clubs — including one in the English Premier League — and am based remotely in Glasgow. Previously I worked in AI Dementia Research after completing my MSc in Particle and Nuclear Physics. I'm available for in-person tutoring in Glasgow on weekday evenings (after 5pm) and weekends, or remotely at more flexible times. I have a car so can drive out if necessary. I am most proficient with Python, but have also worked professionally with R, SQL and Matlab.

I’m comfortable teaching all levels, from complete beginners to university students. I’ve helped people take their first steps in coding as well as supported more advanced learners. I firmly believe that anyone can learn to code — it just needs to be taught in an engaging and practical way. Too often, traditional teaching methods make it feel dry or inaccessible, when in reality, coding can be creative and fun.
