About the lesson

My name is Anchala, and I'm a Data Scientist by profession but a mathematician at heart. I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to my tutoring practice.
I earned my Master's in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut, where I had the privilege of teaching calculus to first-year undergraduates. Through this experience, I developed a knack for breaking down complex concepts into digestible pieces, creating an engaging learning environment that fosters understanding and curiosity. Additionally, my time as a teaching assistant and primary instructor taught me the importance of adaptability, as I tailored my approach to meet the diverse needs of my students.
In pursuit of furthering my knowledge, I pursued a Master's in Statistics at Rutgers University, expanding my understanding of mathematical principles and their real-world applications. This dual background equips me to provide comprehensive support across a range of mathematical disciplines, from foundational algebra to advanced calculus and statistics. Outside of academia, I have a proven track record of success in tutoring high school students in mathematics. Whether it's algebra, geometry, precalculus, or calculus, I'm dedicated to helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
