About Jerry
You will find my methodical approach centers on building strong programming foundations through practical problem-solving. I earned my MSc in Software Engineering from Stanford University to ensure rigorous technical standards. Over 13 years of teaching, I have guided students through complex programming concepts and data structure implementations.
My personal approach focuses on hands-on learning rather than abstract theory. I help students develop the ability to analyze problems, select appropriate data structures, and write efficient solutions. Creating efficient solutions makes the learning process both engaging and productive for students. Strong programming fundamentals and hands-on implementation serve as the backbone of our work together.
We will examine arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, and hash tables while learning how to choose the right structure for each problem. Searching, sorting, recursion, and complexity analysis occupy a major portion of our time. You will spend most of your time writing code, solving problems, and applying concepts rather than memorizing definitions.
