About Brian
Bootcamp students often find data structures overwhelming at first. Honestly, I struggled with the same confusion during my own training, especially when learning how different structures work together to solve complex problems.
I hold a Master of Science in Data Science from Carnegie Mellon University. My teaching supports career switchers, computer science students, and aspiring programmers who want to build a strong foundation in data structures.
With 11 years of experience, I simplify concepts like arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, hash tables, trees, and graphs. I break each topic into manageable steps so students can understand not only how a data structure works, but also when and why to use it.
I especially enjoy helping students gain confidence with recursion, searching, sorting, and algorithmic problem-solving. Through visual examples, coding exercises, and practical problems, I make abstract concepts easier to understand and apply.
