About Vijay
I have more than 13 years of database experience in various database flavor including(SQL Server,Mysql,Oracle).I am currently cooperated training and taking database training for new joinee
with my current organisation.
Current responsibilities include performing database administration tasks which include: installations, upgrades, patching, security, maintenance of backup and recovery procedures, database monitoring and tuning, migration and refreshing of testing and development database environments.
Backup client databases and perform database restore and run consistency checks from SQL Server and application. Performs and monitors daily database operations and set-up backup schedules.
Responsible to carry out all SQL Server upgrades to new version, apply service packs to correct server bugs and trouble-shoot database problems reported by the users.
Monitor the Server and fine tune to obtain optimal performance.
Troubleshooting any SQL related issues in client CRM Server
Monitor the status of Maintenance jobs – schedule to run daily and on weekends (tasks like rebuilding indexes, defragmenting Databases, Shrink Database, and Database complete backup)
Took Initiative in designing some useful tools to my DBA team to track any kind of failures occurring in daily Scheduled jobs.
