About Firuza
As a pre-med senior at UC Davis majoring in Neuroscience, Physiology & Behavior and Cell Biology, I know what it's like to tackle dense, overwhelming material and find ways to actually make it stick. I started tutoring as a way to reinforce my own knowledge — and quickly realized I genuinely love taking complex concepts and breaking them down into something anyone can grasp, even if science has never been your thing. My background in rigorous content review means I know exactly where students get lost and how to navigate around it

Every session starts with a quick concept check so I can meet you exactly where you are — whether that means building on what you already know or starting fresh from the ground up. I take a fully personalized approach tailored to your pace and learning style, so no two lessons look the same. Before each session I prepare slides with clear learning outcomes so you always know what we're working toward. Throughout the lesson I weave in short check-ins to reinforce understanding and make sure nothing gets left behind, particular accent on content review for better reinforcement of the knowledge.
