About Mason
Hi! I'm Mason, a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and currently completing a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center.
I remember how overwhelming the path to dental school can feel. There are countless questions about applications, interviews, choosing schools, gaining meaningful experiences, and figuring out whether dentistry is actually the right career for you. I’ve recently gone through that process myself, and I enjoy helping other students navigate it with a little more clarity and confidence.

I offer one-on-one mentorship for pre-dental students who want practical, honest guidance rather than a generic checklist. I want to just sit down, see where you're at, and help point you in the right direction.
Whether you're just beginning to consider dentistry or you're getting ready to apply, I can help you think through dental school choices, prepare for interviews, and identify ways to make your experiences and application stronger. I also offer mock interviews and personalized feedback so you can walk into your real interviews feeling prepared and confident.
For students already in dental school, I can also provide guidance on GPR and AEGD programs, what to consider when deciding whether residency is right for you, and questions to ask when comparing programs. As someone currently completing a GPR, I can share my firsthand perspective on the residency experience and the transition from dental school into postgraduate training.
I'm not here to tell you there is one perfect path into dentistry. My goal is to listen to where you are, understand what you're trying to accomplish, and help you build a realistic plan that fits you.
