About Jessica

I've been teaching for about 25 years, and teaching online for about 7 of those now. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma, and enjoy time with my family. I'm a reader, and have taught English for a good number of years. I've been teaching ASL for about 8 years, and have been losing my hearing for about 16 years.

About the lesson

As an educator, my style changes based on my student. I use a combination of silence and voice teaching, and use stories and fun comparisons to help students remember this new language. These lessons can be for brand new students of ASL or for those who want to improve their current levels of ASL communication!

Perfect! She was wonderful to work with. She made the sessions fun with her sense of humor, and we learned a lot from her.
