About the lesson

With over two decades of experience in teaching Spanish to diverse groups of students both in-person and online, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to your esteemed language school.
During my time as a Spanish instructor at Carleton University, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, I adapted to the challenges of remote teaching and successfully delivered engaging and effective Spanish lessons online. This experience has equipped me with a strong proficiency in using various online platforms and tools to facilitate interactive and immersive language learning experiences. My ability to create a warm and inviting virtual classroom environment has been instrumental in helping students achieve their language learning goals.
In addition to my online teaching experience, I have extensive experience teaching in-person at prestigious institutions such as Carleton University, University of Ottawa, Algonquin College, and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I have taught Spanish at all levels, from beginners to advanced, and developed customized courses for specific needs, such as business Spanish for entrepreneurs and Spanish for heritage speakers. My approach to teaching aligns well with SuperProf's mission of providing professional, high-quality, and targeted language services that also immerse students in the cultural aspects of the language.
