About Anastasia

I am a final year Westminster School A-level student currently studying Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Chinese, offering help and exam prep up to GCSE in all the sciences and maths! I'm an A* student, with predicted A* in Chinese, Maths and Chemistry, an A in Maths and achieved 11 9s at GCSE level with a grade A Additional Maths FSMQ qualification, plus silver awards in both the Biology and Chemistry Olympiads. Having sat my GCSEs recently I know what it takes to get the highest grades, and I will tailor my approach to you so you can achieve your full potential! I love the sciences, and I will show you they can be fun too!

About the lesson

I am friendly and patient, and will help you in the areas where you need it most while also consolidating existing knowledge. I can help younger students with science and maths and also offer thorough exam GCSE and 11+ exam preparation. Students can let me know which areas they struggle with most and I will use this to create a thorough study approach. Lessons are flexible and different topics or skills can be tackled each lesson; e.g. one lesson may be focused on exam technique and one on theory, depending on which skills the student has the most trouble with. I will ensure basics are fully understood before moving on to more challenging topics to ensure students gain a comprehensive understanding of the material.

Perfect! We booked Anastasia because she received excellent grades in her GCSEs, had plenty of experience teaching GCSE subjects and because she described her teaching process quite well in her profile.

When she started GCSE Maths lessons to my son we quickly realised that she was very thorough and quick to gain an understanding of his needs and weaknesses. She prepared homework that was tailored for him. We are confident that her efforts and her approach to teaching will help my son to lift up his grades in the subjects that Anastasia is helping him with.

Anastasia is friendly and personable and interacts well with my son to stimulate his thinkng and to help him pick up new skills. I would definitely recommend her for any GCSE student wishing to reach the upper GCSE grades.
