About Zara
Hi! I’m Zara, a first-year medical student at UCL (University College London). As an ambitious GCSE student, I achieved nine grade 9s and one grade 8 (all A*s). Along the way, I developed essential skills and techniques to understand challenging content and apply it effectively in exams. I now look forward to sharing these strategies with my students, helping them build confidence and achieve the highest grades possible. As a medical student, I am always keen to share my passion for Science and inspire a lasting enthusiasm for learning in my students.

I have an enthusiastic and highly individual approach to my lessons to ensure that each student's weaker points are targeted effectively. I also utilise active recall and practise questions to consolidate content and exam technique, which is key to achieving those top grades. Throughout sixth form, I obtained experience in mentoring GCSE students to help improve their understanding and exam preparation, particularly in the science subjects. I offer online tutoring for GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I am flexible with lesson timing, although I recommend 1 hour per subject per week for the best results. I also offer the first hour free to see if we are the right fit!
