About Anagha
Hi! I'm a degree-qualified tutor based in London, Ontario, with a background in Science and Engineering and a genuine passion for helping students learn.
I have experience tutoring both formally and informally — from helping students in structured settings to supporting family and community members through their studies over the years. Teaching has always come naturally to me, and there's nothing more rewarding than watching a student's confidence grow when a concept finally clicks.
As someone with a South Asian background, I also deeply understand the academic expectations and pressures that many families place on their children's education — and I take that responsibility seriously. I bring patience, cultural understanding, and real subject knowledge to every session.
My Science and Engineering degree means I have an exceptionally strong foundation in Math and Sciences all the way through Grade 12 — including the advanced topics like Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics that many students find most challenging. Combined with my English and writing skills, I'm able to support students across all core subjects.
I work with students from Grade 1 through Grade 12, following the Ontario curriculum, and I tailor every lesson to the individual student. No two kids learn the same way, and I make it my job to figure out what works best for yours.
I'm patient, reliable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in every student's success. Many of my students have gone from dreading a subject to actually enjoying it — and that's what keeps me doing this.

How I Teach:
Every student learns differently, so I don't use a one-size-fits-all approach. In our first session, I get to know your child — what they find hard, how they learn best, and what their goals are. From there, I build every lesson around them personally. I keep sessions engaging, pressure-free, and focused on building real understanding — not just memorizing answers.
What a Typical Session Looks Like:
We review what the student is currently working on in school
I identify exactly where the confusion or gap is
I explain the concept in a simple, clear way with examples
We practice together until it clicks
I leave the student with tips or practice questions to reinforce it
Scheduling & Format
All sessions are online via Zoom or Google Meet — no travel needed, learn from the comfort of home. I offer flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends to work around your family's routine. Sessions are typically 1 hour but can be adjusted to your needs.
