About Lisa

Hi, my name is Ms. Lisa, and I am a dedicated and passionate educator based in Florida. Teaching has been my dream since I was a child, and I feel incredibly grateful to be living that dream every day. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Drexel University and am a Pennsylvania-certified teacher. With experience teaching preschool and a strong foundation in early childhood and elementary education, I specialize in making learning engaging and accessible for young students. As a mother to a wonderful two-year-old daughter, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and creating a positive learning environment. I love my job and take pride in helping children build confidence in their reading and math skills. My goal is to inspire a love for learning through interactive, student-centered lessons that cater to each child's unique needs. Whether your child needs extra support, enrichment, or just a boost in confidence, I am here to help them succeed. I look forward to working with your child and making learning a fun and rewarding experience!

About the lesson

I create engaging, interactive lessons tailored to each student’s needs. I use a mix of visual aids, digital resources, and interactive activities to keep young learners engaged. My teaching approach is student-centered, incorporating movement-based learning, hands-on strategies, and real-world connections to make reading and math meaningful and fun.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review or warm-up activity to activate prior knowledge, followed by clear, step-by-step instruction using digital tools like virtual whiteboards, interactive games, and guided practice exercises. Students then apply their learning through problem-solving tasks, reading comprehension activities, or math challenges. Each session ends with a recap and independent practice recommendations to reinforce concepts.

What sets me apart is my ability to create a supportive, encouraging environment where young learners feel confident. As a recent Drexel University graduate with a degree in Elementary Education and a Pennsylvania teaching certificate, I bring both academic expertise and hands-on experience from teaching preschool for the past year.

My lessons are designed for elementary students who need support in reading and math, whether they are struggling, looking for enrichment, or preparing for key transitions in their learning journey. Through personalized instruction, I help students build a strong foundation for success.
