About Nathaniel
As a flute tutor with more than 12 years of experience, I believe every student has the ability to learn and enjoy music. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals through lessons that are practical, encouraging, and easy to understand.
My teaching approach combines communication, motivation, flexibility, and creativity. I create personalized lesson plans that help students progress steadily while enjoying the learning journey. Every class includes demonstrations, guided practice, and constructive feedback.
Along with flute, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, breath control, beginner keyboard, sight reading, music appreciation, and performance techniques. These additional subjects strengthen students' musical understanding and confidence.
I guide students in improving posture, breathing, finger technique, rhythm, tone production, and expressive performance. I also help students develop effective practice habits and stage confidence. My mission is to help every learner become a confident and passionate flute player.

My teaching approach is designed to make flute learning enjoyable, organized, and rewarding. I follow the values of Communication, Accountability, and Integrity to help students develop both musical skills and personal confidence. Every lesson is planned according to the student's experience and learning pace.
Students begin by mastering posture, breathing, embouchure, finger coordination, and tone quality. As they improve, they move on to rhythm exercises, scales, note reading, articulation, dynamics, expression, and performance preparation. I include practical exercises and familiar songs that allow students to apply their learning naturally.
Communication creates a comfortable environment where students can ask questions and receive clear guidance. Accountability motivates students to practice regularly, complete assignments, and achieve realistic learning goals. Integrity ensures that every lesson is taught with honesty, patience, encouragement, and equal respect for every learner.
Along with flute, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Rhythm Practice, Staff Notation, Sight Reading, Breath Management, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, Performance Skills, and Practice Planning. These subjects strengthen overall musicianship and prepare students for confident performances.
My aim is to inspire students to become disciplined, expressive, and confident musicians who continue learning with enthusiasm.
