About Courtney
Hi! I'm Courtney. I major in French at university, but I fell in love with the language in middle school and have been studying it and dedicating my personal time to it ever since. I have hosted several exchange students from France and one of my greatest joys in life is speaking with and translating for them! At this point I am at the C1 level (advanced) on the CEFR scale. I also have prior experience with tutoring in the language!

If you're looking for clear, comprehensive French lessons at the beginner or intermediate level, I am the tutor for you! Since the main objective of learning a foreign language is to allow you to communicate with everyday people, I like to put a big emphasis on oral comprehension and speaking like a native instead of a textbook. Beyond just covering grammar and vocabulary, we will go over slang, common idioms, and even get a taste of French culture along the way.
