About Leann
Teaching feels like a natural extension of the time I spend in the studio. To be honest, I sometimes worry that I obsess too much over the tiny details of a performance.
My background includes a BS Recording Arts from Full Sail University which shapes how I hear every note. After 12 years of playing and teaching, I find joy in the moment a student finally captures the right sound.
I have worked with 78 students to refine their technical facility and their personal expression. My own path started with simple chords and led to a deep love for the craft. Does your current practice routine help you reach the sounds you hear in your head?

Do you ever wonder why your fingers feel tired after a short practice session? Clear guidance on acoustic technique and electric maintenance makes a significant difference for students. I provide custom backing tracks so students can practice soloing at home with ease. Since earning my BS Recording Arts, I focus on ear training and reading tabs to build a solid foundation.
We look at fingerpicking and lead guitar as pathways to better songwriting. Whether you need grade exam prep or help with tuning, I keep the pace steady.
My 12 years of experience means we can adjust to your specific speed. I love hearing how your playing improves over time. Happy playing.
