About Vedashree

Hello! I am Vedashree Bajaj, an incoming Junior in High School. I have over 300+ hours of experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school students. Additionally, I have been an employee of Gideon, a math and reading center. I have successfully completed Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, AP Pre-Calculus, and AP Statistics, and am now taking all Advanced and AP (college level) courses this incoming school year, including college-level math! Not only that, I have ranked within the top 5 people (whether that be 1,2,3,4,5) in my school out of over 300 in my grade level!!! Additionally, I am proficient in Python and C++ with over 2+ years of experience in both. Furthermore, I have earned master's recognition in all my STAAR exams including EOC's alongside passing all my AP Exams thus far. I have helped students across multiple subjects including Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and Computer Programming. All my students that were preparing with me for the STAAR exam have achieved a master's recognition along with overall high grades in school. Furthermore, I have also led a 5th-grade student to a high recognition in the WordMasters Challenge. I would love to help you if you need extra support in any of these subjects.

My Approach as a Tutor

As a tutor, I believe in building strong foundational understanding through clear explanations, interactive problem-solving, and personalized strategies. My teaching method focuses on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, encouraging questions, and creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to learn and grow.

Teaching Methods & Techniques
I tailor my teaching style to each student’s needs—whether they’re visual, auditory, or hands-on learners. I often use examples from real life, draw diagrams, and use color-coded notes or coding exercises (in programming sessions) to keep students engaged. I emphasize active recall and spaced repetition to help retain information long-term.

Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material or homework, followed by a focused explanation of the day’s topic. We then work through practice problems or exercises together, gradually increasing the difficulty. I end each session with a brief recap and assign optional practice to reinforce skills.
