About Elizabeth

My 12 years of experience allow me to break down word problems and geometry into manageable segments. Whether you need homework help or are preparing for a difficult competition, we will focus on building a stronger arithmetic foundation.
I hold a Master of Science in Pure Mathematics from UNSW, which helps me explain tricky trigonometry and mensuration clearly. I spent my formative years focusing on the rigorous logic that defines pure mathematics. Having completed a Master of Science in Pure Mathematics from UNSW, I have now spent 12 years teaching. My current work involves supporting 297 students who are often navigating difficult transitions in their academic journeys.
I frequently find myself advocating for more girls to pursue advanced maths subjects throughout their senior school years. My students are generally top-decile Year 11 and 12 pupils aiming for major universities like Sydney or Melbourne.
They arrive with diverse goals ranging from actuarial studies to engineering. I enjoy the process of clearing up common misconceptions during our sessions together. It feels natural to guide learners through these hurdles.
