About Seneca

My name is Seneca.

I am 20 years old, and have been training myself and with many teachers for 15 years.

At that time, I watched my first anime: Dragon Ball Z. If you are familiar with it, there's this one episode where Goku was fighting Cell in the Cell Games. That intense scene lit a spark in my soul that I never knew I had until that moment.

Ever since then, I've been training in karate, with my first bo staff being a red broomstick. My first teacher was my mother, who taught me how to punch by punching our couch cushions. Then my grandfather enrolled me into a school called Warren Levi, where I learned how to spar with others, breathe properly, and run across multiple punching bags. That was my favorite part of the experience.

After an accident, I had to drop out of the school, with me stopping at the green belt. But that didn't stop me from training, as I practiced on my breathing while I healed, simultaneously teaching myself how to meditate.

Once I was fully healed, I enrolled myself with my cousin to another school called Warrior Scholar. There, they taught me about the different forms and how to roll on the ground, which is beneficial to learn if you fall and don't want to get hurt. Lastly, they taught me how to meditate, and the fundamentals of it. Sadly, that's all they offered, so I bid them farewell, and thanked my sensei for the training. I left and from them to now, I have been training myself, improving my skills everyday and learning new skills along the way.

If you made it this far in, then I commend you for your patience, as this is ideal and important to one's martial arts journey. As a reward, I shall tell you that I have discovered and learned about the true nature of one's energy. This energy goes by many names, but to keep it simple, it could go by two names: Chi and Chakra.

After training with this for over 2 years, I am willing to teach this to anyone who wishes to dive deep into the spiritual and physical connections with this hidden power that we all have within us.

As a martial artist, the very first lesson I was taught is to always be patient. I wish to train anyone interested in the art of fighting and self defense, from children to the elderly.

The lessons will include karate, tai chi, kung fu, kendo, bojutsu, and the relationship between the body and the soul, with occasional meditation to experience such connections.

These classes are very flexible, as they will be taught via zoom meeting. So you can learn about martial arts in the comfort of your own home.
