About Jas
Hi! My name is Jaskirat, and I am a first-year university student at the Schulich School of Business. My passion for teaching began at home, where I often help my younger sibling with math and other subjects. Seeing them work through challenges, gain confidence, and finally understand concepts that once felt difficult showed me how rewarding it is to support someone’s learning journey.
Over time, I have also found myself helping friends and their siblings who need extra support with math. I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts into simpler steps and finding different ways to explain ideas until they make sense.
I believe that every student learns differently, and having the right support can make a big difference in how they view math. My goal is to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, build their skills, and become more confident in their abilities.

I believe math is best learned through understanding concepts rather than memorizing steps. My goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving their skills.
