About Marlane
I am a professional preschool teacher with over 10 years of experience. For the past 7 years, I have taught in local preschool classrooms and have owned and operated an E.E.C. licensed family childcare for 10 years. I work with preschool, kindergarten, and first-grade students.
I hold an Early Childhood and Deaf Studies Certificate from local colleges and am a Lead Preschool Teacher licensed by MA Early Education and Care. I am dedicated to meeting the individual needs of my students and their families, and I strive to make learning fun and exciting!

My teaching method involves actively listening to my students and collaborating with them on the materials covered in their weekly lessons. Together, we practice vocabulary words, conversations, ASL sentence structure, culture, and history, all interwoven into our sessions.
I ensure thorough preparation by familiarizing myself with the materials in advance and asking my students about their specific needs and areas they want to review.
