About Mary
Mechanics, thermodynamics, and waves become intuitive when you see how they translate into actual physical phenomena. I provide clear guidance on numerical problem solving and graph interpretation by utilizing the rigor I gained from an MIT Physics PhD. During my 4 years of part-time teaching, I have balanced these academic sessions with a career in quant research and ML engineering. My work centers on students preparing for board exams or technical careers who need a bridge between theoretical concepts and practical application.
I treat every lab report and derivation as a chance to refine your analytical thinking. Because I have spent a decade in scientific computing, I emphasize the mathematical patterns that govern physical systems. My methodology serves beginners who need basics and intermediate learners aiming for mastery. Together, we will turn your physics goals into a series of solved challenges.

Does physics ever feel like a jumble of unrelated variables instead of a unified description of the world? Our first interaction involves a free trial class where we identify your specific weak areas and map out a strategy for your board exams. I draw on my background in mechanical systems and oscillations to make abstract concepts move from the page to the real world. We spend our time working through difficult numerical problems while ensuring your conceptual understanding remains rock solid.
My sessions move at your speed, whether we are focusing on lab work or standard examination preparation. I integrate my experience in scientific computing to show you why certain graphs behave in specific ways. You will find that my PhD training provides a unique perspective on standard physics curricula. I look forward to tackling these tough problems with you.
