About Raelene

I’m a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Vocal Performance. My focus is helping adults who want to sing simply for enjoyment. Many of my students are beginners, hobby singers, or people returning to music after years away. Some want to join local choirs or sing casually with friends.

I create a calm and welcoming environment for learning. Lessons are relaxed and supportive. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable using their voice.

We work on breathwork, posture, vocal relaxation, and building a warm tone. I also use mindfulness techniques to help singers stay present while performing. This approach helps remove tension from the voice.

I enjoy teaching Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult styles. These genres allow singers to explore emotion and storytelling. Each student develops their own musical identity.

Singing can be a powerful way to relax and express yourself. It builds confidence and creativity. Whether you are new to singing or returning after a long break, you are always welcome. Let’s start your singing journey together.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on helping students discover the full potential of their natural voice. I believe that every singer has a unique sound that deserves attention and care. My role is to guide students in strengthening and shaping that voice. Singing should feel relaxed and confident.

In our lessons, we explore breath support, resonance, projection, and tone development. These core skills help singers produce a balanced sound. We also practice different vocal qualities such as belting, head voice, and mixed voice. These techniques expand vocal possibilities.

Exercises are carefully chosen to improve vocal control and flexibility. We work step by step to build strength and clarity. Consistent practice leads to steady progress.

I enjoy supporting singers who are developing their solo voice as well as those beginning their singing journey later in life. Each lesson is personalized for the student. Guidance is always encouraging.

My goal is to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable exploring their voice. Over time the voice becomes stronger and more expressive. Together we refine your sound and confidence. We will unlock your full vocal potential.
