About Rivka
"Graduating with an MMus Vocal Studies degree provided me with a rigorous foundation for teaching string technique. I have worked with 431 students over 8 years to refine tone production and posture.
My teaching journey started with a focus on patience and technical clarity. Helping learners master shifting positions and vibrato remains the highlight of my week. I enjoy watching students improve their intonation and ear training through dedicated practice. Outside of the studio, I appreciate the quiet focus that classical music requires."

"Strong violin technique often comes from playing slower rather than faster during your daily practice sessions. Although speed is exciting, true control of spiccato and staccato bowing requires intense focus on the fundamental movements of the bow arm. I offer recorded playback of tricky passages for home practice to assist your development. My background from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire informs how I approach scales and arpeggios with each student.
