About Cecilia

"Music has a unique power to bring people closer together, which is why I love teaching group vocal classes. Holding a Licentiate of Music in Voice, I have spent over six years helping families connect through song. My absolute favorite sessions are family duets, sibling trios, and parent-child vocal workshops.

I remember watching a father and daughter struggle with their timing until they finally nailed a beautiful call and response routine. In my classes, we use exciting partner harmonies and interactive sing-along games to make learning effortless. We explore magical genres including Disney favorites, musical theater hits, gospel anthems, and timeless singalong classics.

These collaborative sessions are designed to build strong teamwork and create a beautiful sense of bonding between loved ones. I believe that singing together removes the pressure of solo performing and replaces it with pure joy. Every exercise we do is crafted to ensure that everyone feels included and supported.

About the lesson

"Singing is about feeling the groove rather than just hitting the right notes. We start our lessons by tapping into your natural instinct through rhythm-based techniques to improve your timing and energy. By using your whole body to feel the pulse, you will unlock a powerful sense of emotional release in your voice.

We dive deep into syncopation and beat subdivision to help you navigate tricky vocal lines without getting lost. For example, my student David wanted to transition from classical choir to singing soul music, so we used physical movement to master complex rhythmic phrasing. We explore these exact concepts across vibrant genres like gospel, funk, and jazz.

This hands-on style is perfect for adults who are starting out late and want to sing with genuine confidence. You do not need to worry about rigid rules because we focus heavily on your creative instinct and natural flow. I break down difficult syncopated lines into simple steps so you can feel the groove immediately.

Our sessions are energetic spaces where you can let go and just enjoy the music. Together we will transform the way you connect with melodies by making rhythm the heartbeat of your sound. You will finish every single lesson feeling motivated and deeply connected to your unique voice."
