About Addisson
I’m a dedicated and responsible 16-year-old student who has consistently excelled in school and currently takes Honors and AP math classes. I am patient, reliable, and passionate about helping students understand challenging material and build confidence.
I also want my students to feel comfortable with me beyond just tutoring. I love cars and enjoy getting to know people, so I hope to build a friendly connection where students feel supported, comfortable asking questions, and excited to learn.

My approach to tutoring is centered around patience, understanding, and making sure each student actually understands what they are learning. I believe everyone learns differently, so I take the time to explain concepts in different ways and break difficult problems down into simple, manageable steps.
A typical lesson would start by discussing what the student is currently struggling with or what they would like to work on. We would go through examples together, and I would explain each step along the way. Then, I would encourage the student to try similar problems independently while I provide guidance when needed. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and never feel embarrassed if they do not understand something right away.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am genuinely patient and truly want to teach and help others learn. I understand that learning can sometimes feel frustrating, especially when a subject does not come naturally. My goal is to create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students can learn at their own pace and build confidence in their abilities.
My lessons are for students who need help with general mathematics, logic, and math concepts up to Algebra 1. Whether a student needs help with homework, preparing for a test, practicing specific skills, or simply understanding a topic better, I am happy to work with them and adapt my teaching to their individual needs.
