About Constance
Since getting a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Music Education, I have taught piano to students all ages for 50 years. I also teach violin lessons. Come join me! We can explore all the different styles of music to find your favorites.

About the lesson

We begin with discovering the piano, with finger dexterity exercises and chords/scales. Then we can usethe Faber Piano method books (or add an additional series like Bastien or Alfred.) There are beginner books on Amazon of Easy to Play Disney Tunes and Pop Tunes and Classical Tunes that can let us explore different styles of music and find your favorites. With music theory we learn to write our own music, have fun with chords, learn to play faster with accurate rhythm. It's really fun playing duets. I am trained and experienced in teaching beginners through the intermediate level.

Perfect! She was very kind and patient with my 5 and 6 year old. It was their very first lesson.
- Wow! A new piano, new bench, new teacher for two wonderfully enthusiastic students. I think they loved their lesson. Already playing "Up on the Housetop" for Christmas on the black keys. Just you wait til the new Faber books come!Constance's response :
