About Azzura
Hi, I’m Azzura, a degree-qualified engineer from France, now based on the Sunshine Coast.
Before moving to Australia, I worked as an industrial project manager at Airbus, coordinating projects on aircraft and helicopter assembly lines—an environment where precision, rigor and clear thinking matter every day.
I started tutoring math when I was 13 and have continued ever since. I enjoy the subject itself, but what has kept me tutoring for so long is the human side of it. I love understanding how someone thinks, finding the explanation that works for them and seeing the moment when something that initially seemed confusing finally makes sense.
My engineering background naturally influences the way I teach: I look for the logic behind a problem and explain how each piece of information helps build the solution.
I now work exclusively with learners aged 18 and over, particularly young adults, TAFE students, apprentices, first-year university students and adults returning to math.

My lessons are designed for learners aged 18 and over, including young adults, TAFE students, apprentices, first-year university students and anyone returning to maths after a break.
I begin by understanding your current level, the course or assessment you are preparing for, and the areas you find most difficult. From there, I tailor each lesson to your goals and learning pace.
My approach is focused on understanding before memorising. I break concepts down into clear, manageable steps and pay particular attention to the logic behind how an exercise is constructed: why certain information has been included, what idea the question is testing, and how each step leads naturally towards the solution.
This helps you understand not only how to solve a particular problem, but also what the exercise is actually trying to teach you and how to recognise the same reasoning in unfamiliar questions.
We will work through examples together before you apply the method independently.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes but longer 90-minute sessions can also be arranged for exam preparation or more complex topics.
I am a degree-qualified aeronautical engineer and have been tutoring maths since I was 13. The human side of tutoring is a large part of why I have continued for so long: I genuinely enjoy meeting people, understanding how they think and seeing the moment when a concept finally clicks for them.
I offer support in foundational maths and selected Year 12 and introductory university topics, including algebra, trigonometry, functions, calculus and matrices.
Lessons can be delivered in English or French.
