About Rebecca
I believe that everyone should have an equal opportunity to receive an education. I have been a teaching assistant in microbiology for two years and have spent large amount of extra time working with students that need more time to master course content. I recently received an equity and inclusion award at the University of Alaska Fairbanks for this teaching philosophy. I prioritize helping students learn course content and explaining concepts rather than doing work for them. Microbiology and teaching are two passions of mine and I look forward to assisting in the education of anyone that needs it.

I love working 1 on 1 with students, working through assignments, reviewing papers and answering questions. I learn best with visual aids, so if reading your textbook isn't working for you, I have plenty of other resources that have personally worked for me. For any cell biology, microbiology, or environmental science students who need a different approach to mastering undergraduate course content, I am here for you!
