About Fathima
I have always loved the world of science and had been pursuing it ever since grade 11. After completing my schooling, I opted for a Bsc(H) in Biochemistry in Delhi University and then later on seeing the prospects of the combination of science and information, I went on to do a Masters in Bioinformatics at Pondicherry Central University. I have always loved to interact with children and provide knowledge to them. In fact, teaching science has made me believe that there is always room for me to learn something new everyday. I have had experience in teaching grade 1 to 6 students for two years as part of NSS in Delhi University. I also taught grade 11 students as a part of an NGO, Rangrut.

I have excellent communication skills in Hindi, English and Malayalam. I am also a good listener, thereby understanding truly what the students are finding difficult and make it easier for them. Considering how the world has made a major shift in the pandemic and the future of learning is online, I easily adapted to this mode and would definitely help students to learn with ease. Each child is definitely different and I have understood it personally through my teaching experience. I follow a combination of various teaching methods but primarily following on a learner centric approach. I often try and keep the students engaged in the class and act as a mentor figure rather than a teacher. This allows the students to open up honestly about their academic struggle and helps me to teach them accordingly. Thus, as a teacher I can assure to understand how every student needs help in learning and assist them accordingly.
