About Ananya
Hi, I'm Ananya!
A Delhi University graduate in Philosophy (Honors) and a passionate teacher of Political Science and History at the high school level. I scored 96% in my Class 12 Humanities boards and graduated with a 7.3 CGPA from DU — but more than my grades, what drives me is a genuine love for these subjects and for helping students discover that love too.
I know how overwhelming History and Political Science can feel — endless dates, dense theory, confusing concepts. My goal is to change that. In my sessions, I break everything down into simple, relatable ideas and connect the syllabus to the real world so that learning feels natural, fun and not forced.
My Philosophy background has shaped the way I teach. I don't just want students to remember answers — I want them to think, question, and understand.

My teaching approach is rooted in understanding before memorisation. I believe that a student who truly understands a concept will always outperform one who has simply memorised it — especially in subjects like Political Science and History where exams reward clarity of thought.
In my sessions, I break down complex topics into simple, relatable ideas first. Once the foundation is clear, I build upward — connecting concepts, drawing parallels with current events, and showing students how the syllabus actually reflects the real world around them. This makes the subject feel alive rather than like a burden.
I place special emphasis on answer writing — a skill most students overlook until it's too late. I teach students how to structure responses, use the right keywords, and present their understanding in a way that examiners reward. Past papers and mock answers are a core part of how I teach.
Every student learns differently, and I adapt accordingly. Some need more visual aids, some need more discussion, and some just need someone to patiently go over the same concept a different way. I make it a point to never make a student feel behind or overwhelmed.
