About Wahab

As a third year dental student, I have become familiar with tackling challenging concepts and pushing myself in order to succeed academically. This is something which I want to put across to my students. Having recently finished sixth form, I am well equipped with the knowledge and skills that are required at that stage. I am enthusiastic, adaptable and friendly, which helps me add a personal touch to my teaching. I have good experience in teaching - I have tutored in an 11+ centre and privately for GCSE Maths and Science. I also provide advice, interview preparation and personal statement help to aspiring dental or medical students. I believe that teaching and learning should be interesting and fun rather than a chore. My teaching style is student-oriented and I like to build a solid foundation before working up to challenging questions. I ensure my students have fully grasped a concept and can deal with it independently before moving onto harder areas. I make sure that my teaching style adapts accordingly to the person I am tutoring - having worked in a centre helped me to do so. That being said, I am reliable and you can be sure you're going to enjoy learning and excel if you choose me as your tutor! This is vital in ensuring continuity in revision which is a key element required for students to do well in exams. He has experience with private tuition one on one as well as at tuition centres.
