About Roshni

Hi - I'm Roshni, a part-time dentist and a part-time tutor. Having tutored whilst at University and for the Youth Education Learning Programme (YELP), I now tutor with a London-based tuition company and online on Superprof. Having studied at a Top 10 School and Russell Group University, and having achieved top marks in both my GCSEs (10 A*s) and A-Levels (4 As), I appreciate just how invaluable building up a strong academic foundation early on in life can be. My passion for tutoring stems from being able to help children develop confidence so that they can reach their full potential. As a tutor, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student have a 'light-bulb moment' where everything falls into place. School can be a challenging environment for students to learn in, and I firmly believe that the one-to-one approach of tutoring can really help students reinforce and build on concepts taught at schools and help motivate them to achieve their goals. I look forward to hearing from you!

About the lesson

Hello, my name is Roshni and I’m a dentist with a range of experience in tutoring. I currently work with a London-based tutoring company but enjoy teaching students on Superprof to help even more children with their educational journey. My passion for tutoring stems from being able to help children develop confidence so that they can reach their full potential. I am available for tutoring students in Chemistry and Maths for Year 9 (Key Stage 3) and GCSEs (Year 10 and 11). My lessons are typically 1-hour long, though I can be flexible with this based on my schedule. My teaching style is interactive and fun, allowing students to engage with the content being taught and to motivate them to achieve their goals. I like to have an introductory session with students to identify areas that they would like me to focus on, and what styles of learning they are more at ease with, so that I can tailor my lessons individually for each student.
