About Dr Ambrin
I am a dentist with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery, over 10 years of clinical experience, and around 20 years of teaching experience.
I currently teach dental assisting and dental hygiene students in Canada and enjoy helping students navigate the demands of dental education. Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, working through assignments, or simply want to feel more confident in your knowledge, I’m here to help.
My goal is to make learning less overwhelming and help you develop the knowledge and confidence you need to succeed in your studies and future career.

I like to keep my lessons simple, interactive, and easy to follow. My teaching style is flexible, and I adjust my approach based on how each student learns best.
* I explain concepts in a way that helps students visualize and understand them.
* I use a mix of visual explanations, verbal discussion, examples, and questions.
* I start with the basics and gradually move toward more advanced concepts.
* I focus on helping students understand and connect concepts so they are easier to remember during exams.
My typical lesson plan:
* Quick recap of the previous lesson
* Brief overview of what we will cover
* Explanation and discussion of the new material
* Two-way Q&A to check understanding
* Kahoot, flashcards, or other short activities to reinforce learning in an interactive manner
