About Katerina
I am a junior at Old Dominion University studying Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Spanish. I have had experience peer tutoring in Spanish, and have also been an academic tutor. I have a passion for the language and all of the benefits that come with learning another language such as cognitive skills, cultural awareness, and more. I am also fluent in Greek, and consider myself to be working on being trilingual. My experience with working with children has made me passionate about working with them in the future, while allowing their fullest potential to shine.

I work hard to be adaptable to the student, while also using some basic teaching skills to facilitate learning. Learning a language requires a balance between memorization and genuine understanding of the ins and outs of the language. I would like to see where there may be any difficulty with the student, and see why this may be the problem before I immediately address it. It is important to see the student in a natural and comfortable setting where they feel comfortable expressing their feelings and thoughts.
