About Kristen
I am a graphic designer/ art director who currently resides in sunny Los Angeles, California. In 2010, I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from The University of Tampa. That may seem like centuries ago in internet years but don’t worry, I am currently completing my Master's at UCLA to ensure that I am up to date on all of the new tricks. I have been working as a graphic designer and art director for the past 11 years. I am currently an in-house art director for an agency. I have worked in many different fields... Editorial, Advertising, Branding, Entertainment, Packaging, Merchandising, Fashion, Motion graphics, and there is probably more!

-Ready to start off with the basics but if you are more advanced we can jump right into the kind of projects you can expect in the professional world.
- I will show you how to tackle design predicaments using all the programs. You will get to know how the programs all work together to accomplish almost anything!
-There are some books that have helped me, if you don't want to buy them no worries! I can get you the pages I think are important.
- I will start each lesson with a new tool or technique. I will provide you with the same image I am working with and have you follow me step by step. After answering any questions you have I will ask you to choose your own image to try it on.
- We can pick things that interest you! If you like cars we can work with images, racing magazines, illustrations the list goes on... this won't be boring.
- Have a style you like? We can create within that realm
- These lessons are for everyone. Elementary, beginners, high school, adults learning a new skill, and college students wanting to learn what to expect in the professional world.
- I've worked for a variety of different companies with different styles, procedures, and expectations. Branding, Advertising, Public Relations, Editorial, Entertainment press kits... the list goes on
