About Naomi
Design and Technology is a subject that combines creativity with practical thinking, and I find it rewarding to help students build their understanding and confidence over time. For me, teaching isn’t just about explaining content, it’s about supporting students in finding approaches that work for them and helping them feel more capable in the subject.

I am a qualified Design and Technology teacher with a PGCE in Design and Technology from the University of Chester. I also hold a First Class Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from Manchester School of Art and a First Class BA (Hons) from Kingston School of Art.
I tutor Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level Design and Technology. I have experience teaching across multiple exam boards, including AQA and Eduqas/WJEC, and support students in developing the knowledge and exam skills needed to succeed.
I have experience teaching across all material areas within Design and Technology, including timbers, textiles, polymers, metals, and papers and boards, allowing me to support students with the full breadth of the curriculum.
Lessons are online, one hour long, and £29 per session. First lesson is a free 30 minute session. Each lesson is fully personalised to the student’s needs, whether they want to strengthen their understanding of theory, prepare for exams, or build confidence in the subject. I create tailored resources and adapt my teaching style to ensure every student can learn in a way that works best for them.
