About Alec
I am an artist/designer, teacher, and researcher from Galway, Ireland. English and Irish are my native languages.
I studied at Limerick School of Art and Design, Technological University of the Shannon.
I have a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design Communications and a Professional Masters of Education in Art, Craft, and Design. I am also qualified and experienced in teaching English as a Foreign Language.
I am passionate about equity, diversity, inclusion, and sustainability.
I have also passed the 'Teastas Gaeilge Do Mhúinteoirí Iarbhunscoile' (TGMI) oral exam for teaching through Irish in Secondary Schools.

About the lesson

I will tailor my lessons to your needs and interests. I find that project-based and interactive lessons with games and role-play are good for helping students to learn and remember what they learnt.
A typical lesson will be 40 minutes but should it suit your needs better, anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour can also be arranged. I can teach any age group, A1 to B1 CEFR levels.

Irish is my native language as I am from Ireland. I have also passed the 'Teastas Gaeilge Do Mhúinteoirí Iarbhunscoile' (TGMI) oral exam for teaching through Irish in Secondary Schools.
I have a Bachelor's degree and soon will complete my Masters in Education around June 2024.
I also teach Art in secondary/high schools.
