About Jamar
Working with students who need a fresh start, I often find myself thinking about the foundations of technique. My BMus from Berklee provides the framework for teaching scales, arpeggios, and precise pedaling.
Grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity is a primary focus for many. Music theory and rhythm are essential.
My approach is simple. I prioritize posture and hand position above all else to ensure longevity. Sight playing and reading are regular components of our routine. You can expect a consistent and structured method from me.
