I did ballroom dance for about ten years and got to travel the world dancing. I also wrote my own singing square dance, done many folk dances and made my own southern fancy and straight dance outfit.

About Byron
I am slow to criticize and quick to compliment the student and always present myself professionally. I have had the joy of tango in Argentina, salsa in Mexico, waltz in Vienna, paso doble in Madrid, samba in Rio, Jarabe Tapatío in Mexico, Native American dance on the "rezes" and Zorba in Greece.

About the lesson

I introduce the dance in question with a short demo and then teach the simple rhythm and steps making sure the students understand the basics. Sometimes I play the music for the dance and see if the student can identify which dance it is. I also include some of the culture to give the student a better understanding.
