About Olive
I was a freelance tutor since middle school, often my peers would come to me asking to help them with homework, test prep and general help in their class. All of my students aced their exams, got perfect scores on assignments and were able to carry what they learned into the next level of math. I truly believe that learning should be fun. Everyone hates math because most schools can’t take the time to help everyone learn the way that’s best for them. I have adjusted my teaching based on every student’s needs no matter what. I helped with taking notes that were easy to understand, creating practice problems based on skill level and establishing study habits that worked best for them. I break the norms of learning because everyone deserves the tools to succeed.

Growing up I struggled with having to only memorise the way textbooks solve problems and not be able to put it into terms I can understand. Putting it into language I’m comfortable with and that will truly stick was life changing. Everyone learns at a different pace, stopping to make sure you truly understand what’s going on should never be scrutinised.
