About Panje

Hello, and welcome! I'm PJ and I am a Digital artist and illustrator who is passionate about serving beginner artists and people in general who want to start creating their own characters. I like avocados :D. I enjoy playing video games, watching anime and crocheting among other things. I believe art is for everyone, literally! If you haven't done any art before but have always been interested, I'm here to take your hand and help you put your foot into the door. Practice makes progress, and I'll be there with you along the way to guide your growth.

As an educator, artist, and storyteller, I am committed to helping aspiring character designers, comic artists, and visual storytellers develop the skills they need to bring their characters to life.

With years of experience in illustration, my goal is to provide beginner artists with a strong foundation in design principles while encouraging their unique artistic voice.

My Teaching Method
Every lesson is designed to be hands-on, interactive, and accessible to beginners. My method follows a clear structure that balances technical skills with creative expression:

Step 1: Shape Language & Silhouettes – Learn how simple shapes influence personality and design.

Step 2: Expression & Personality – Master facial expressions, poses, and visual storytelling.

Step 3: Proportions & Anatomy – Simplify the human form and create dynamic characters.

Step 4: Costumes & Details – Use clothing, accessories, and props to enhance storytelling.

Step 5: Bringing It All Together – Finalizing a professional-level character design.

Each class includes warm-up exercises, guided practice, real-time feedback, and creative assignments so that students can apply what they’ve learned immediately.
