About Lain

I've been teaching digital audio software for over five years and have earned a Bachelor of the Arts with a focus in music technology as well as university-level certification in studio audio production & recording. My experience includes one-on-one tutoring, student teaching, and university level teaching assistance. I'm highly experienced in Ableton Live as well as FL Studio, and have further experience with Pro Tools, Reaper, and BandLab. I'm a producer, multi-instrumentalist and passionate hobbyist. Your creative aspirations always come first, however you want to realize them.

About the lesson

Working with beginner students of all ages and experience levels who want to learn digital music production, recording, and arrangement. I'm here to help with all the questions you're too embarrassed to ask and the weird issues online tutorials can't help with, and guide learners in bringing their creative visions to life. Subject areas include digital arrangement, mixing & mastering, home studio setup and recording, and music theory fundamentals. Tutoring sessions are guided by the student's needs and goals with flexible and personalized lessons.

Perfect! I just had my first lesson with Lain and it was an excellent lesson. Lain is very good at explaining how Ableton works and is very patient with me as I am a complete beginner to music production. I feel like I learned a lot in one hour. I highly recommend booking a lesson with her :)
