For the past four years, I’ve been a dedicated tutor specializing in Mathematics and Science for secondary school students. I began with small group lessons but quickly progressed to one-on-one tutoring, which allowed me to adjust my approach to each student's specific learning needs. Throughout the years, I have assisted six students, five from secondary school and one from primary school, with notable progress in their grades and general comprehension of the content. For instance, two of my Secondary 1 NA students went from receiving Ds in science and math to receiving A and B grades in just three months, landing an A2 in math and a B3 in science on their final exams. My teaching philosophy is based on structured lessons, practical problem-solving, and good time-management abilities. To increase exam performance, I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable pieces, aligning past-year exam papers with school courses, and reinforcing organized response approaches, particularly in science. Above all, I want to boost my students' confidence and help them develop the skills and mindset required for long-term educational achievement.
