About Emma
I have tutored other high schoolers at my Secondary School and local students at elementary subject levels. I am a rising high school senior on track to receive the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with a STEM focus. I have received A's in almost every mathematics level, including Advanced Calculus and Statistics. I am kind, compassionate, understanding, and patient. I am very personable and able to work with a wide variety of students to ensure maximum educational success.

- I am prepared to tutor all mathematics levels up to (and including) Algebra 1
- We will focus on the subject areas in the student's current education that they are struggling with. This varies from student to student, but I am prepared to handle all mathematics topics up to (and including) Algebra 1 topics.
- I will verbally explain the process of solving the problem and then do a practice problem to show the application of my explanation.
- I will then give the student a practice problem and ask them to solve it and explain to me the steps that they are taking to do so. This will allow me to help the student with any areas of weakness, or understand what steps in the problem the student is having trouble with.
