About Polly
"Dusty boot heels clicking against wooden stages defined my 6 years as a touring singer-guitarist across the American South. Open-mic regulars kept asking for tips, and that is how I started teaching 13 years ago. I handle power chords and music theory with a practical edge.
Ear training keeps things honest, while I prep students for grade exam requirements. Reading sheet music is just another tool for improvisation and soloing, though chord transitions and scales and modes define the actual playing. My work focuses on students needing a monthly recorded review of progress."

"Struggling to make those chord changes sound fluid is the most common hurdle I see. Fingers stumbling over strings often ruins the flow of a good tune.
My 7.0 approach uses my Musicians Institute Hollywood training to bridge the gap between technical practice and real gigging. I bring 13 years of road experience to these sessions so you get exactly what works on stage. I break down the mechanics of the neck while keeping the song central to the work.
