About Alexis
Teaching has helped me understand that every singer grows at a different pace. Some students need more confidence, while others want to improve their technique or prepare for performances.
I have a Bachelor of Music and 9 years of teaching experience with children and adult learners. Working with different voices has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to each student.
I enjoy creating a positive space where students feel comfortable learning and exploring music. Watching them become more confident singers is what makes teaching meaningful for me.

During my singing lessons, I help students build confidence by understanding their voice and learning how to use it correctly. Classes are planned around your goals, favourite songs, and current ability, so each session feels comfortable and meaningful.
We'll practise breath support, pitch accuracy, vocal range, rhythm, ear training, diction, harmony, tone production, song interpretation, microphone techniques, and stage confidence. We can record short practices, improve specific parts of a song, and work on expressing emotions through music.
I'll provide regular feedback, simple practice routines, and progress discussions to help you continue improving. As you develop your skills, you'll feel more comfortable singing and enjoy sharing your voice with others.
