About Timothy
I am an aspiring solicitor about to undertake the SQE, with an aim of becoming a criminal solicitor for the CPS. I converted to Law after securing a Bachelor's and a Master's in Philosophy, with an aim of looking for more practical applications of philosophical thinking. Having studied a lot of ethics and formal methods, I was drawn to Criminal Law, and had even presented my undergrad dissertation at a Jurisprudence conference.

I don't have a particular lesson plan for every student, as every person has different needs. But I do understand what needs to be taught, and the better I understand what your needs are as a student, the better I can tailor my plan to you. I am more than happy to coach anyone who is willing to work, and has the passion for what they are studying - although I do try to make the subject as interesting as possible. A lesson will initially start as an hour, but this can be adapted based upon schedule and learning needs. I have 3 university qualifications, a bachelor's and a master's in Philosophy from King's College London, and LSE respectively; I also have a PgDL from BPP in which I earned a distinction overall and in all modules. I have an excellent understanding of both essay writing and knowledge-based questions. My tutoring applies to A Level Law and Law conversion students. I am open to tutoring first-year LLB students, as well as Philosophy undergrads depending on their modules. My knowledge is particularly strong in formal methods and ethics.
